About ETP Academy
Enhance Training Performance Academy is a dedicated football academy for players of any age. We welcome boys and girls of all abilities, with the aim of developing every player from grassroots level through to professional standards.
Our weekly training sessions are led by founder Hishi Lama and are designed to provide a high-level, structured environment where young players can thrive. We focus on all aspects of football development—technical skills, game understanding, physical conditioning, and confidence on and off the pitch.
In addition to weekly training, players will also have the opportunity to participate in weekend matches, allowing them to put their skills into practice in real-game scenarios. With Hishi's strong connections to professional clubs, our academy is uniquely positioned to offer players the chance to test themselves against professional academies—providing a valuable benchmark for progress and growth.

The Man behind ETP Academy
Not Just A Coach. A Footballer Who Made It.
Hishi Lama knows the journey because he's lived it. As a former professional footballer who competed in Canada and the United Kingdom, he didn't just play the game at the highest level available to him — he studied it relentlessly, understood it deeply, and built a career around it.
Holding a BSc in Sports Development from Cardiff Metropolitan University and an MSc in International Sport Management from Northumbria University — where he earned a prestigious Football Athlete Scholarship — Hishi brings a level of academic and professional intelligence to his coaching that sets ETP apart from anything else available in South Wales.
Today, as a scout for Swansea City Football Club, Hishi sits inside the professional game every single week. He knows what clubs want. He knows what separates a player who gets signed from one who gets sent home. And he brings every bit of that knowledge into every session, every assessment, and every conversation at ETP Academy.
International Experience
Hishi brings a wealth of international experience, having played and worked professionally in countries including Canada and the United Kingdom. He currently serves as a scout for Swansea City Football Club, leveraging his deep understanding of the game to identify and nurture emerging talent.
Coaching
Throughout his coaching and mentoring career, Hishi has worked with elite academy prospects from top clubs such as Manchester City, Newcastle United, Manchester United, Chelsea, Arsenal, Feyenoord, and many more. His approach is informed by collaboration with professionals across Europe's top leagues, all with the aim of helping the next generation of players reach their full potential.
Passion
Hishi's passion, international insight, and dedication to youth development form the foundation of Enhance Training Performance's mission: to empower young athletes to succeed both on and off the pitch.
